Tom and Don were great. Both were friendly, professional, punctual. When I was in the process of reviewing estimates, I called Tom with some questions and left a message. This was on a Sunday, and he returned the call the same day. They cleaned up after themselves each day that they were here. The leftover paint was marked for me (what color and what room it was used in). I have zero complaints. When I’m ready to have more painting done, Ace Painting is who I will call. Patched ceiling from water leak in kitchen, then painted ceiling. Removed paper in bathroom, patched walls, painted ceiling and walls. Painted ceiling and walls in staircase area and office.

They painted one large area, a room and up the stairs. They were diligent, not wasting one minute! They did not complete the job to their satisfaction in the one day proposed, so they decided to come for a few hours the next day. I was satisfied with their work and impressed with their work ethic. And, they cleaned up after themselves.

Don, an associate of Tom, the owner, did excellent work. The painting looks much smoother than when I do it myself. He arrived on time (actually, early), was very neat, and was kind enough to give me hints for doing an excellent painting job if I do paint on my own again. Tom, the owner, was responsive, helpful, polite. I would certainly use Ace again. Painted 4 walls (including a wall of paneled closet doors) in master bedroom.

After a bad experience with a different painting outfit (missed appointment, lack of responsiveness) I contacted Tom at Ace Painting and after several emails back and forth we agreed on a Feb 3 date for the work (this was less than a week after my original contact). Anyway Tom and his assistant, Don, showed up on time and ready to work. I’m not an over-the-shoulder kind of employer so I and my overly friendly dog, Mo, got out of their way while they proceeded with the job. By about 3:30 pm all three projects had been completed although Tom was concerned that the stairwell needed a third coat and would I mind if Don came back the next day to add the coat. I agreed and again, Don was on time and went right to work. After a couple of hours Don had finished up and left. Their clean up and work was impeccable and I am happy to highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up his/her home. To paraphrase Tom, there are a lot of “meatballs” in the painting business, but Ace Painting is certainly not one of them.
