Tom made the appt. for 7:00 a.m. so that he could be done early and I wouldn’t be late for work. He showed up 15 minutes early! There was a bad “smudged” area on the front of my house due to some yews I had taken down. They had swayed against my house and scratched at my paint for many years, and Tom took the time to scrub that area to see if it could be improved. That actually was the reason I got my house powerscrubbed. Overall, my house looked much better, but now I see how badly it needs painting! Shortly after purchasing the deal on Angie?s List Tom contacted me by email and gave me his cell number to set the appointment. I spoke with Tom and was easily able to set the appointment, my first choice of dates and times worked with his schedule. Tom showed up a few minutes ahead of the start time and went to work right away. He had an additional painter join him a few hours into the job and between the two of them they were able to paint a large master bedroom (2-3 coats of paint) and a large master bath (2 coats of paint). They went above and beyond at the end of the job and vacuumed the rooms and moved the furniture back into place. They also took the time to replace all of the switch plates. (I had expected to do those jobs after they were gone.) I would definitely recommend their services. They were very courteous and easy to work with. Great job! I had purchased a package for $199.99 that included 8 hours of painting.

Tom called me back within a day to schedule the appointment for the following week. His painter came right on time. He moved all the furniture and took a lot of time to repair damaged plaster and fill in nail holes. When he applied the paint I had selected, it looked terrible. He waited while I went to pick up a different color, then went over all the surfaces he already painted, and put on 2-3 coats of the new new paint. He stayed as long as needed to complete the work. The room looks beautiful – the best paint job ever. I am so grateful to have found a painter who does an excellent job, is friendly and charges an appropriate price. I am going to be putting my home on the market, so I wanted to “spiff” it up with a nice power wash. Certain parts of the siding, particularly on the front and under the porch awning, were extremely dirty. Many of the gutters were practically black with dirt or tinged green with fungus (I have a massive oak tree that overhangs my house, adding to lots of schmutz on everything.) I wasn’t sure everything could be cleaned, particularly the gutters. Enter Ace Painting! My new “heroes” came over (Tom and his hard working assistant) and, within an hour, pressure washed the house and garage so well that it now looks shiny new! The gutters are now a bright white, and the siding looks fantastic. Tom was very communicative in setting up the appointment, and called me when he was on his way which I really appreciated. Both Tom and his assistant were extremely friendly and just got down to business working, not wasting any time. Very, very professional. I simply couldn’t be happier with Ace Painting’s service, quality and price. It was money well spent and I know any potential buyers that come to view my home will be impressed (I should have had this done long ago so that I could enjoy it longer!!) However, the work would have been worth it even at Ace’s regular price of $150 per hour since it added SO much to my home’s value and curb appeal (even if I wasn’t moving). I used them twice. I purchased a deal with them. They did a small job and I was so impressed I had them come out again. They were very good, punctual and quality. I would not bring them back if they did not do a good job. Put the booties on their feet. Very professional. I used Ace Painting to paint a bunch of rooms for me.
