Tom is very friendly and easy to work with. We made his job easier by moving all of the furniture ahead of time and he appreciated it. He went out of his way to get a primer for the wall that we were painting with a gallon of special “paint on movie screen” that we weren’t sure would be able to do two coats. The movie screen wall turned out perfectly! Best in-house projection surface! Tom works quickly and got all of our painting done in just one week. Great work! Painted kitchen ceiling and all of the walls in the kitchen, entrance foyer, family room, stairs and upstairs hallway.

Don arrived exactly on time and went right to work after I showed him the room that needed painting. He used drop cloths to protect the hardwood floors, asked questions to understand exactly what needed done. He removed all outlet covers and switchplates as well as spacked holes and cracks. In other words he did all the prep work necessary to ensure the job came out right. Don completed one coat of paint on the walls, then while that dried he went to work on the door trim. These doors were the old 15 pane interior doors. He completed the trim job perfectly without getting even a speck of paint on any of the glass. Once the trim was done, he finished the second coat on the other room walls. I am so pleased with the work Don did at my house. Everything was done perfectly. He cleaned up after himself and when he was done there was not even a speck of paint on the hardwood flooring. I will definitely be calling ACE very soon to do more work in my house. They were very good painters. It took them about two weeks. The workers were nice and clean. They painted my three bedrooms upstairs. They also painted the upstairs hallway, wall coming down the stairs, the living room with ceiling, the dining room with ceiling, and the kitchen ceiling.

I had all sides of my house including gutters power washed. One side had heavy staining and took longer than the others but is now perfectly clean. I am very happy with the results and would use Tom again. I had purchased an Angie’s List deal in August for 1 hour of power washing for $89 and intended only getting the heavily stained side of my house cleaned. When Tom arrived, however, he said he could do they whole house and the gutters as well. My house has a large footprint with lots of angled roofs (so lots of guttering). There was no pressure from him and after a brief discussion about the cost I agreed. | |My only area of slight disappointment is how long it took to get a date on the calendar for this work. I didn’t mind waiting but just didn’t like that I had to contact Tom so many times before he was able to suggest a date.

I hired Ace Painting to clean my driveway, sidewalk along the side of the house from the front to the back, large back patio, and sidewalk up to the front door. These areas were pretty dirty and had not been cleaned in years so I was concerned how clean they would get. I was happy to see they did a great job and everything looks really nice. Cleaned my concrete.

Bought the coupon for 8hr for 2 people. I sent him an e-mail asking if he would do a ceiling for that price and he responded quickly and said yes. I was expecting just to have my ceiling done which was “stomped” with drywall compound and was still raw. They painted the ceiling on 3 open rooms (kitchen, kitchette, and living room). I had the paint for my kitchen and they agreed to paint the kitchen and while they were at it, asked about my living room. Said if I had the paint they would re-paint that room also. That room was a dark burgundy. We went to the store and bought 2 gal of paint, he let us use his discount and they put 2 coats on the living room. So for the $400, we had the ceiling on 3 rooms, the kitchen/kitchette painted and 2 coats on the living room. We had an estimate for the same work and it was a lot higher. While they were here, I asked about my 2 story foyer and they gave me a price and came back 2 weeks later and did my our 2 story foyer. Tom was quick to respond, he actually answers the phone each time we called him. While they were here for the second time, we mentioned that we had 1 loose shingle on the roof. Before we knew it, Don had gone up on the roof and repaired our shingle without a word. Took us complete by surprised.

Tom made the appt. for 7:00 a.m. so that he could be done early and I wouldn’t be late for work. He showed up 15 minutes early! There was a bad “smudged” area on the front of my house due to some yews I had taken down. They had swayed against my house and scratched at my paint for many years, and Tom took the time to scrub that area to see if it could be improved. That actually was the reason I got my house powerscrubbed. Overall, my house looked much better, but now I see how badly it needs painting! Tom gave me a prompt estimate for painting my house as well and if I decide to go that route, I will definitely give Ace Painting the job. Very satisfied customer with Ace Painting. Thanks Tom! Tom called me back within a day to schedule the appointment for the following week. His painter came right on time. He moved all the furniture and took a lot of time to repair damaged plaster and fill in nail holes. When he applied the paint I had selected, it looked terrible. He waited while I went to pick up a different color, then went over all the surfaces he already painted, and put on 2-3 coats of the new new paint. He stayed as long as needed to complete the work. The room looks beautiful – the best paint job ever. I am so grateful to have found a painter who does an excellent job, is friendly and charges an appropriate price. I already received an estimate to sand and paint another room. I highly recommend Ace Painting. Painted one room, as stipulated in the Angie’s List Deal.
