Tom is very friendly and easy to work with. We made his job easier by moving all of the furniture ahead of time and he appreciated it. He went out of his way to get a primer for the wall that we were painting with a gallon of special “paint on movie screen” that we weren’t sure would be able to do two coats. The movie screen wall turned out perfectly! Best in-house projection surface! Tom works quickly and got all of our painting done in just one week. Great work! Painted kitchen ceiling and all of the walls in the kitchen, entrance foyer, family room, stairs and upstairs hallway.

They were very good painters. It took them about two weeks. The workers were nice and clean. They painted my three bedrooms upstairs. They also painted the upstairs hallway, wall coming down the stairs, the living room with ceiling, the dining room with ceiling, and the kitchen ceiling.

Bought the coupon for 8hr for 2 people. I sent him an e-mail asking if he would do a ceiling for that price and he responded quickly and said yes. I was expecting just to have my ceiling done which was “stomped” with drywall compound and was still raw. They painted the ceiling on 3 open rooms (kitchen, kitchette, and living room). I had the paint for my kitchen and they agreed to paint the kitchen and while they were at it, asked about my living room. Said if I had the paint they would re-paint that room also. That room was a dark burgundy. We went to the store and bought 2 gal of paint, he let us use his discount and they put 2 coats on the living room. So for the $400, we had the ceiling on 3 rooms, the kitchen/kitchette painted and 2 coats on the living room. We had an estimate for the same work and it was a lot higher. While they were here, I asked about my 2 story foyer and they gave me a price and came back 2 weeks later and did my our 2 story foyer. Tom was quick to respond, he actually answers the phone each time we called him. While they were here for the second time, we mentioned that we had 1 loose shingle on the roof. Before we knew it, Don had gone up on the roof and repaired our shingle without a word. Took us complete by surprised.

They were excellent. Pick up after themselves and make sure everything is in order, I was impressed with their service and the pricing was reasonable. Interior painting.

Had dining room painted, walls & ceiling (ceiling cost an additional $100, on top of special price for walls). Painter did an excellent job with prepping (for example,scraping some peeling places, patching holes where pictures were hung, prepping new plaster who repair was made in ceiling). Did excellent job in cutting in around woodwork and crown molding. Due to amount of patching & sanding, only issue was that they should have hung plastic over doorways to prevent dust from covering the whole downstairs! A few other minor clean up issues. Talked to Tom, the owner, afterwards & assured me he would make sure that these issues were addressed in future jobs.

Tom and Don were great. Both were friendly, professional, punctual. When I was in the process of reviewing estimates, I called Tom with some questions and left a message. This was on a Sunday, and he returned the call the same day. They cleaned up after themselves each day that they were here. The leftover paint was marked for me (what color and what room it was used in). I have zero complaints. When I’m ready to have more painting done, Ace Painting is who I will call. Patched ceiling from water leak in kitchen, then painted ceiling. Removed paper in bathroom, patched walls, painted ceiling and walls. Painted ceiling and walls in staircase area and office.

The provider did not want to come out before hand and look at the job. I did not know how long my job would take (had paid for 2 painters for 8 hours). 3 painters came. Before he started the job I asked how much do to a ceiling, “$100” is said Ok, do it today It turned out all of the work including the ceiling was complete in about 4 hours. I think I over paid for that amount of time but the agreement had been made. Without the added ceiling the job would have been done in about 2 1/2 hours. Lesson learned: do not pay in advance until you know how much time your job may actually take. I should have insisted on the company looking at the job first.
