Don arrived exactly on time and went right to work after I showed him the room that needed painting. He used drop cloths to protect the hardwood floors, asked questions to understand exactly what needed done. He removed all outlet covers and switchplates as well as spacked holes and cracks. In other words he did all the prep work necessary to ensure the job came out right. Don completed one coat of paint on the walls, then while that dried he went to work on the door trim. These doors were the old 15 pane interior doors. He completed the trim job perfectly without getting even a speck of paint on any of the glass. Once the trim was done, he finished the second coat on the other room walls. I am so pleased with the work Don did at my house. Everything was done perfectly. He cleaned up after himself and when he was done there was not even a speck of paint on the hardwood flooring. I will definitely be calling ACE very soon to do more work in my house. I paid for 8hrs of a painter; two young men showed up. One man started painting the doors. The other young man started taping the main door I wanted painted. At the end of time the most important door I wanted painted was not. I painted it myself later. Basically I had one painter for 4 hrs. His work was good but I paid for 8 hrs. Not the best result.

I had all sides of my house including gutters power washed. One side had heavy staining and took longer than the others but is now perfectly clean. I am very happy with the results and would use Tom again. I had purchased an Angie’s List deal in August for 1 hour of power washing for $89 and intended only getting the heavily stained side of my house cleaned. When Tom arrived, however, he said he could do they whole house and the gutters as well. My house has a large footprint with lots of angled roofs (so lots of guttering). There was no pressure from him and after a brief discussion about the cost I agreed. | |My only area of slight disappointment is how long it took to get a date on the calendar for this work. I didn’t mind waiting but just didn’t like that I had to contact Tom so many times before he was able to suggest a date.

They did a fantastic job. They can be trusted to be in your home when you are not present. The work was quality. They are punctual and professional. The cost in my opinion was fair. I added jobs to their work with no push back they took on the extra work. I would recommend them to you. Painting interior and exterior at two homes.

The provider did not want to come out before hand and look at the job. I did not know how long my job would take (had paid for 2 painters for 8 hours). 3 painters came. Before he started the job I asked how much do to a ceiling, “$100” is said Ok, do it today It turned out all of the work including the ceiling was complete in about 4 hours. I think I over paid for that amount of time but the agreement had been made. Without the added ceiling the job would have been done in about 2 1/2 hours. Lesson learned: do not pay in advance until you know how much time your job may actually take. I should have insisted on the company looking at the job first.
