I had all sides of my house including gutters power washed. One side had heavy staining and took longer than the others but is now perfectly clean. I am very happy with the results and would use Tom again. I had purchased an Angie’s List deal in August for 1 hour of power washing for $89 and intended only getting the heavily stained side of my house cleaned. When Tom arrived, however, he said he could do they whole house and the gutters as well. My house has a large footprint with lots of angled roofs (so lots of guttering). There was no pressure from him and after a brief discussion about the cost I agreed. | |My only area of slight disappointment is how long it took to get a date on the calendar for this work. I didn’t mind waiting but just didn’t like that I had to contact Tom so many times before he was able to suggest a date.

Purchased a $99 deal to paint a room. Used it to paint the stair case and upper and lower hallways so it cost more than the original coupon. They did a great job Painted the walls of the stair case and upper and lower hall way.

After a bad experience with a different painting outfit (missed appointment, lack of responsiveness) I contacted Tom at Ace Painting and after several emails back and forth we agreed on a Feb 3 date for the work (this was less than a week after my original contact). Anyway Tom and his assistant, Don, showed up on time and ready to work. I’m not an over-the-shoulder kind of employer so I and my overly friendly dog, Mo, got out of their way while they proceeded with the job. By about 3:30 pm all three projects had been completed although Tom was concerned that the stairwell needed a third coat and would I mind if Don came back the next day to add the coat. I agreed and again, Don was on time and went right to work. After a couple of hours Don had finished up and left. Their clean up and work was impeccable and I am happy to highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up his/her home. To paraphrase Tom, there are a lot of “meatballs” in the painting business, but Ace Painting is certainly not one of them.

Tom is very friendly and easy to work with. We made his job easier by moving all of the furniture ahead of time and he appreciated it. He went out of his way to get a primer for the wall that we were painting with a gallon of special “paint on movie screen” that we weren’t sure would be able to do two coats. The movie screen wall turned out perfectly! Best in-house projection surface! Tom works quickly and got all of our painting done in just one week. Great work! Painted kitchen ceiling and all of the walls in the kitchen, entrance foyer, family room, stairs and upstairs hallway.

Shortly after purchasing the deal on Angie?s List Tom contacted me by email and gave me his cell number to set the appointment. I spoke with Tom and was easily able to set the appointment, my first choice of dates and times worked with his schedule. Tom showed up a few minutes ahead of the start time and went to work right away. He had an additional painter join him a few hours into the job and between the two of them they were able to paint a large master bedroom (2-3 coats of paint) and a large master bath (2 coats of paint). They went above and beyond at the end of the job and vacuumed the rooms and moved the furniture back into place. They also took the time to replace all of the switch plates. (I had expected to do those jobs after they were gone.) I would definitely recommend their services. They were very courteous and easy to work with. Great job! I had purchased a package for $199.99 that included 8 hours of painting.

The provider did not want to come out before hand and look at the job. I did not know how long my job would take (had paid for 2 painters for 8 hours). 3 painters came. Before he started the job I asked how much do to a ceiling, “$100” is said Ok, do it today It turned out all of the work including the ceiling was complete in about 4 hours. I think I over paid for that amount of time but the agreement had been made. Without the added ceiling the job would have been done in about 2 1/2 hours. Lesson learned: do not pay in advance until you know how much time your job may actually take. I should have insisted on the company looking at the job first. The job went very smooth and quick. It was completed in a day and looked very good. We needed a bedroom painted. This included the ceiling, walls, and closet.

I am going to be putting my home on the market, so I wanted to “spiff” it up with a nice power wash. Certain parts of the siding, particularly on the front and under the porch awning, were extremely dirty. Many of the gutters were practically black with dirt or tinged green with fungus (I have a massive oak tree that overhangs my house, adding to lots of schmutz on everything.) I wasn’t sure everything could be cleaned, particularly the gutters. Enter Ace Painting! My new “heroes” came over (Tom and his hard working assistant) and, within an hour, pressure washed the house and garage so well that it now looks shiny new! The gutters are now a bright white, and the siding looks fantastic. Tom was very communicative in setting up the appointment, and called me when he was on his way which I really appreciated. Both Tom and his assistant were extremely friendly and just got down to business working, not wasting any time. Very, very professional. I simply couldn’t be happier with Ace Painting’s service, quality and price. It was money well spent and I know any potential buyers that come to view my home will be impressed (I should have had this done long ago so that I could enjoy it longer!!) However, the work would have been worth it even at Ace’s regular price of $150 per hour since it added SO much to my home’s value and curb appeal (even if I wasn’t moving).
